Digital third-party logistics (3PL) provider Opus9 and fleet management solutions provider FleetUp are partnering to provide real-time GPS tracking and ETA (estimated time of arrival) services to improve visibility and efficiency for truckload customers, the companies said today.
Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Opus9 says the partnership will expand and enhance customer service for shippers by allowing existing Opus9 carriers access to FleetUp's range of tracking and analysis reports, which includes ELD (electronic logging device) and hours-of-service AI features and preventive maintenance alerts. Opus9 carriers will get a 20 percent discount off the monthly cost of the ELD service, the company said.
"Through this exciting partnership, we will empower carriers with the ability to have full control [of] sharable fleet data," Alex Ryu, founder and CEO of Opus9, said in a statement announcing the partnership.
San Jose, Calif.-based FleetUp provides Software-as-a-Service fleet management solutions, including its ELD solution.
