Logistics systems integrator Dematic will establish its global headquarters in Midtown Atlanta, the company said April 10. The firm has secured roughly 40,000 square feet of space in the Coda complex, a mixed-use space in the city's Tech Square area. The move will add about 230 jobs as Dematic grows its Atlanta presence, the company said.
"Technology is at the core of what we do," Hasan Dandashly, Dematic's president and CEO said in a statement announcing the move. "... Establishing our headquarters in Atlanta reflects our commitment to remaining a world leader in technology and innovation in the supply chain solution space through industry 4.0."
Dematic's news follows an announcement last month by U.S railroad Norfolk Southern that it will relocate its headquarters to Atlanta by 2021, also locating in the city's Tech Square area.
