Norfolk Southern breaks ground on Atlanta headquarters

Eastern U.S. railroad Norfolk Southern broke ground on its new headquarters facility in Atlanta, the company said this week.

Norfolk Southern said in December that it would relocate its headquarters from Norfolk, Va., to Atlanta. The company said it will build a two-tower glass structure with 750,000 square-feet of office space in Tech Square, in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. The facility is slated to be completed in the third quarter of 2021, the company said.
