Supply chain consulting firm Tompkins International has launched a new business unit that will help consumer packaged goods companies (CPG) build and manage direct-to-consumer experiences, the company said today.
Raleigh, N.C.-based Tompkins said that Nexus Commerce has joined the Tompkins companies and has been rebranded as NexusFx, a division that offers digital tools that help CPGs access and use first-party data, the company said. The business unit complements Tompkins International's service offering, which also includes MonarchFx, an alliance of logistics service providers, supply chain technology providers and partners that provides logistics and fulfillment solutions.
"NexusFx is a game changer and the final critical component of the Tompkins International ecosystem," Jim Tompkins, CEO, Tompkins International, said in a statement announcing the new business. "When combined with MonarchFx, we now provide the complete direct-to-consumer solution for brands from concept development to final-mile delivery. I could not be happier to announce our newest business unit, NexusFx."
