Vancouver, British Columbia-based logistics provider ParcelPal Technology Inc. has expanded its relationship with Amazon.com Inc. and will begin delivering packages to customers in Washington State, the company said this week.
ParcelPal provides on-demand delivery of merchandise from retailers, restaurants, medical marijuana dispensaries and liquor stores in the Vancouver area. The company says it will offer its initial delivery service for Amazon in the Everett, WA, area, with plans for greater expansion in the United States.
ParcelPal says it is also expanding its presence across Canada.
"Everett provides an excellent launching point for expansion into the United States," company President and CEO Kelly Abbott said in statement announcing the deal. "This expansion into Everett shows our continued growth within the Amazon ecosystem and their approval of our performance to date. As the company continues to expand across Canada, we will also seek to expand our presence in parallel within the United States."
