Material handling solutions provider Cimcorp Group is reorganizing its management structure in an effort to capture a greater share of the systems integration market, the company said today.

Cimcorp has appointed two senior executives to its executive management group, merged two sales units, and formed a more streamlined software department, the company said. Among the managers, Tero Peltomäki has been named vice president of business development, focusing on product development and corporate co-operation, while Marjo Rimpelä was named vice president of finance and administration. Cimcorp also said that Rick Trigatti will remain as its North American president.

The merged sales operation will be led by Kai Tuomisaari, vice president of sales, who is responsible for developing the international sales network and managing companywide sales operations. The software department will be led by Pasi Kankaanpää, director of software, and Sakari Mikkola, head of software development, Cimcorp said.

A division of Murata Machinery Ltd. (Muratec), Grimsby, Ontario-based Cimcorp is a manufacturer and integrator of robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire-handling solutions. In addition, Cimcorp has developed robotic solutions for order fulfillment and storage that are being used in the food and beverage, retail, e-commerce, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and postal services sectors, Cimcorp said.

Cimcorp said it is experiencing strong demand for its automation projects and new client implementations. In response, Cimcorp has increased its headcount by nearly a third and doubled its revenue in the past four years, including revenue growth of 35 percent in 2016, the company said.
