Some of the early graduates of Michigan State University's Logistics in Supply Chain Management Executive Seminar may be wrapping up their careers soon. The program, which was CSCMP's very first University Cooperative Program, was established back in 1967.
The seminar covers the theory, dynamics, structure, and principles of the logistics discipline, but there's more to it than just theoretical discussions. Instructors also offer practical tips on sales and operations planning, inventory management, strategic manufacturing, transportation and warehouse management, and synchronized procurement. In addition, students participate in a computer-based interactive supply chain simulation.
The seminar will be offered on May 4-9 at the school's campus in Lansing, Mich. For information, go to www.bus.msu.edu/execed/programs.
