Express eMax HF Advanced High Frequency Fast Chargers

August 22, 2012
No Comments

Enersys has developed a new line of high-frequency (HF) industrial fast chargers for forklift truck batteries. The new Express eMax HF line features the latest innovations in digital power control and wireless communications.

According to Enersys, the first high-frequency fast chargers on the market relied on analog power controls. The new digital power controls now available provide greater power and more precise control, says the company.

Those same digital controls allow the eMax HF to be small and lightweight, which opens up valuable floor space in the distribution center. The eMax HF offers multiple installation options that let customers choose between mounting the eMax HF to a wall or rack or using a stand to attach it to the floor.

The eMax HF works like Enersys' other fast chargers. Drivers simply pull up, plug in, and the eMax HF does the rest. The eMax HF automatically recognizes the status of the battery and keeps it properly charged and equalized all week long.

The full line of eMax HF fast chargers features advanced wireless communications that are capable of real-time battery and charger fleet management. Every eMax HF is available as part of an Express Fast Charge Solution that includes Express iQ, an optional information management system that provides remote alerts and reports.
