Standard-Knapp, a manufacturer of packaging machinery, introduces its Beaded Lane Guide. The guide is designed to reduce friction and container damage in the packing line. Standard-Knapp's Beaded Lane Guide handles non-round, locking, and unstable-shaped containers with reduced downtime and damage due to line jams. The guide's exclusive interleaved design provides a virtually continuous surface for significantly reduced side friction against bottles and containers, protecting pressure-sensitive labels and graphics from damage. Beaded Lane Guides on the inner packing line permit simultaneous motion on both sides of the line without friction, so multiple lanes can run side by side without bottlenecks. The highperformance plastic rollers of the Beaded Lane Guide are also engineered with a specific ratio of outside and inside diameter for minimal roll resistance.
The Beaded Lane Guide is offered in a range of heights to address any size or shape product and application. The guide's stainless steel assembly components allow for easy cleaning and maintenance-free operation, and its lowdeflection mounting plates make installation simple. It is available with all of Standard- Knapp's packaging machines or as a separate component.
