10/5/2018 - BLAIRSVILLE, GA- Working in conjunction with their sister company, K-Con Inc., Panel Built is finishing up the final touches on a tactical training tower to complete another great project together! The tower system is 4 stories tall with an overall height of 45 feet! Being used as a training structure for one of the Branches of the United States military, the structure features a number of specially made details to help meet customer needs, including custom shutters, breach points, and confined space tubes to help with their training. The top of the towers features removable railing and kickplate.
Ultimately, this project demonstrates Panel Built's ability to go above and beyond their standard line of duty. Although most of their steel structures come in the form of modular mezzanine systems, Panel Built has had a long history of working with the US military on tower projects, as well as defensive and training structures, from range towers to rope courses to air traffic control towers. This tactical training tower is a prime example of Panel Built's ability to customize their projects and offer unique solutions to their space needs.
