Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Tara Gray has been promoted to regional human resources manager. Gray will oversee teams in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, covering 16 service centers, spanning Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas.
Gray has over a decade of experience at Southeastern, where she began her career as a temporary associate in Atlanta, Georgia. After meeting and exceeding expectations, she was quickly promoted to various positions, including account manager and service center manager in Macon, Georgia.
"Throughout her career, Tara has proven to lead with integrity," said Richard Slater, director of human resources, Southeastern Freight Lines. "Those character traits, combined with her incredible determination to learn and grow, are one of the many reasons she was chosen to fill this new role. Gray will be domiciled in Houston, Texas, and looks forward to serving the Southeastern Freight Lines team in a new capacity.
