RENO, Nev. — April 1, 2016 — ITS Logistics, a fast-growing, industry-leading company headquartered in Sparks, has been recognized as "Large Company of the Year" by the Reno Gazette-Journal. The annual awards recognize companies for outstanding leadership and exceptional business performance that has made a significant contribution to Northern Nevada in the past 12 months.

"We are proud to be honored for this award from the leading media organization in northern Nevada," said Jeff Lynch, the chief executive officer of ITS Logistics. "These are the hometown people who best know our company and its values. We deeply appreciate their recognition."

ITS Logistics is a premier third-party logistics company that provides personalized supply chain solutions with an asset-based dedicated fleet, warehousing and distribution services, and nationwide multi-modal freight brokerage, and employs more than 550 people throughout its network, with a majority based in Northern Nevada. The company expects to add at least 100 employees as it continues to expand its local and national operations this year.

The company has won national recognition for its family-friendly culture as well as its use of innovative and cutting-edge technology to deliver strategic logistics services for its clients.

ITS Logistics also is a leading supporter of the community, providing assistance to organizations that range from the athletics programs of the University of Nevada, Reno, to the Sierra Regional Center Angel Tree program and numerous youth sports programs.

As it expands its northern Nevada operations, ITS Logistics is moving to a 630,000-square-foot facility at 555 Vista Blvd. in Sparks. The company is investing several million dollars to improve the facility, which increases its operating space in Northern Nevada by approximately 150,000 square feet.

Its transportation brokerage operations are headquartered in downtown Reno offices. The company also operates facilities in Southern California, the Seattle area and Phoenix. The company was founded in 1999 by three Northern Nevada natives — and longtime friends — Jeff Lynch, Darryl Bader and Dan Allen. Lynch currently serves as its chief executive officer while Bader is its chief operating officer and Allen works as its chief financial officer.

The founders of ITS Logistics partnered in early 2015 with McNally Capital LLC a Chicago-based merchant bank, and Coughlin Capital, a family-held private investment group, which are providing financial support to enhance the growth of the Reno/Sparks-based company.

The "Large Company of the Year Award" was presented to ITS Logistics at a gala on Thursday, March 31.
