VoiceXML Browser

Voxware Inc., which produces voice-driven technology, has introduced VoiceXML Browser, a technology that voice enables Windows CE-based devices for the logistics market. The company says the new technology allows users to develop logistics solutions independently of proprietary voice-input hardware and will allow any CIO or logistics industry solution provider to deliver high-quality, robust, thin-client voice solutions.

VoxBrowser is a thin-client solution built on open systems and a Web-centric standards-based platform. It includes Voxware's Integrated Speech Engine (VISE), designed for demanding high-noise industrial environments. VoxBrowser offers interfaces to any WMS, ERP or warehouse distribution application.

Voxware also announced VoxManager 1.0, a Web-based program that configures user access and administers the voice-enabled units powered by Voxware. VoxManager 1.0 and VoxBrowser are available immediately.
