LoadHog modular dock bridge improvements

SPX Dock Products has made improvements to its LoadHog modular dock bridge, designed to span the gap between the warehouse dock and trailer. The unit now has a capacity of 15,000 pounds gross vehicle weight, which is roughly comparable to a 40,000-pound capacity pit leveler. But unlike pit levelers, the LoadHog is easy to install and operate. It requires no pit or concrete pouring and provides a lower cost of ownership and improved cleanliness around the dock area. The LoadHog mounts to the dock floor using only four heavy-duty anchor bolts. The bumper block assembly attaches to the dock's face with four anchors per bumper. The LoadHog unit stores inside the warehouse and allows the dock door to close tightly against the floor, minimizing energy loss and potential theft. It also protects against accidental lift truck run-off. The LoadHog is available in widths of 5, 6 and 7 feet. The 17-inch pre-ramp allows smooth transition from the warehouse floor to the deck and is easily replaceable should it be damaged.
