ACE Compliance System

Virtual Dispatch, a company that specializes in dispatch software for the North American trucking and brokerage industry, announces its ACE Compliance System in partnership with CrimsonLogic. The ACE project (Automated Commercial Environment) is part of a modernization plan by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that requires highway carriers to submit electronic manifests to U.S. Customs one hour before the truck reaches the first port in the United States (or 30 minutes prior for FAST shipments). ACE speeds up the flow of legitimate trade and cargo entry processing, and provides carrier participants with the electronic authorization to move cargo across the U.S. border.

The Virtual Dispatch ACE Module enables truckers to submit the required data directly to U.S. CBP from their Virtual Dispatch system, through a fast and secure Internet connection. The ACE Module sends e-mail notifications to the carriers and also enables users to access additional information via the Web.
