Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Matt Hughes has been promoted to service center manager in Dallas, Texas.
With over 16 years of experience at Southeastern, Hughes started his career at Southeastern as a freight handler in Valdosta, Georgia. Since then, Hughes has completed the management training program and has served in a variety of roles, including outbound supervisor, operations manager, inbound supervisor, assistant service center manager and service center manager in Jackson, Tennessee, and, most recently, service center manager at the Garland, Texas, service center.
"Matt's dedication to our mission of providing quality without question service is only one example of how he's continued to be an asset to the Southeastern team over his more than 16 years with our company," said Jim Jones, regional vice president of operations for Southeastern Freight Lines.
