Olathe employees volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club in Olathe on April 15th, to celebrate Earth Day. The day kicked off making earth-friendly bird feeders, followed by a lesson on vegetable gardening from a master gardener. The children planted vegetables, pulled weeds and cleaned up the grounds. Over ten bags of compost and three bags of trash were collected. Other Earth Day activities included a recycle relay with special guest Gary Walker, the "King of Green," and other outdoor games.
