Ocean freight e-commerce platform Inttra said today it has expanded its relationship with supply chain software provider Kewill by offering a wider array of ocean carrier scheduling information for users of Chelmsford, Ma.-based Kewill's transportation management platform.
Companies that subscribe to Kewill's MOVE platform already have access to Parsippany, N.J.-based Inttra's data on bookings, shipping instructions, and track and trace technology. Under the expanded partnership, Kewill users will now be able to leverage an end-to-end ocean shipping solution that begins with scheduling the voyage, the companies said. That expanded information includes access to Inttra Ocean Schedules (OS), a large selection of ocean scheduling information, including 12 million voyages offered by more than 50 ocean carriers and non-vessel operating common carriers (NVOCCs).
"For years, Inttra and Kewill have worked together to enable customers to raise productivity levels, lower costs, and improve supply chain visibility," Inttra Marketplace President Inna Kuznetsova said in a statement. "We are thrilled to be expanding our collaboration based on a shared vision of streamlining global shipment operations for Kewill's customers on a larger scale."
