The deceptively rugged and cost-effective vehicle-mounted computer is ideally suited for non-hand-carry data collection applications such as being mounted to a forklift or used in a stationary shop floor application.
The new Paladin houses a powerful computing platform featuring Android 5.1 running on a 1 Ghz Freescale microprocessor with 1 GB DDR3 RAM memory. It comes standard with 8GB of internal memory and the option to add an SDHC for even more storage. The Paladin boasts a 9.7" capacitive touch screen which offers maximum data presentation to the viewer without hindering driver visibility. The LCD delivers high resolution / high visibility data, picture, and video content. With the new Android operating system, combined with the capacitive touchscreen, the Paladin represents a shift toward more intuitive user interfaces.
The Paladin is equipped with an array of standard interfacing capabilities such as Ethernet, USB, RS-232, RS-485, and RS-422 and can be mounted using a standard VESA 75 mounting device or a RAM mount attachment. For wireless connectivity, both Wi-Fi and BT are standard features.
