LIBRA Plug N' Go battery

C&D Technologies' Power Systems Division offers the LIBRA, Plug N' Go battery. This sealed lead acid battery is designed to reduce maintenance requirements compared to regular flooded batteries in material handling applications. The battery's hybrid absorbed glass matt/Gel design overcomes acid stratification problems found in other valve-regulated lead acid batteries and allows the battery to be oriented in the traditional vertical position. The time and money associated with conventional battery maintenance, including cell watering, acid equalization, and expensive waste treatment systems, is virtually eliminated. The hybrid design improves cycle life for light- and medium-duty applications, allowing LIBRA to provide a good balance between power and maintenance.
