Kindred announced that American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) is expanding its fleet of Kindred SORT robots and will install 26 additional units in its primary U.S. distribution centers.
Kindred's SORT 3.7 picking robot now has 27 cubbies and can sort 400 units per hour to increase the throughput capacity. SORT 3.7 has human-like grasping capabilities and separates multi-SKU batches into individual custom orders.
