Georgia Tech Offers Distribution Operations Analysis and Design (DOAD) Certificate

Two to four-day courses designed for mid-career supply chain professionals (from senior analysts through directors) that provide in-depth knowledge of a specific topic. Courses are arranged around themes and certificates.

Formulated to arm Distribution Operations professionals to stand out in their careers as experts in facility operations improvement. The mix of required and elective courses provide participants with the critical skills needed in both designing new facilities and re-engineering a wide variety of existing distribution facility types. Emphasis is placed on topics such as: Systematic Methodologies to Facility Layout, Quantitative Analysis of Needed Facility Capabilities, Lean Warehousing Concepts, and Rigorous Trade-off Analysis of Labor, Equipment, and Facility Alternatives.
