InLine Tag Ultra RFID tags

December 4, 2011
No Comments

HID Global has expanded its portfolio of InLine Tag Ultra passive contactless transponders. These advanced general-purpose UHF tags for radio-frequency identification (RFID) are designed to meet the most demanding applications, including automation, logistics, and returnable transport items.

The InLine Tag Ultra expands the potential application of UHF technology by providing increased reliability where less advanced tags fail. The tags include the HID Global 3D antenna that delivers omnidirectional read ranges of up to 26 feet on all materials, including metal. The tags' broadband capabilities meet worldwide standards, making international logistics processes and infrastructure simpler and more cost effective. Built for durability and versatility, all InLine Tag Ultra RFID transponders are compliant with EPC global-certified UHF Class 1 Gen 2 readers and provide 512-bit user memory with 128-bit EPC.

InLine Tag Ultra transponders are available in five configurations for mounting on virtually any material using standard screws, industrial adhesives, or welding. The Slim versions are for space-restricted applications, and the Curve version is arched to hug metallic kegs or gas cylinders. All tags are waterproof, provide high resistance to aggressive liquids or physical impact, and deliver excellent performance and reading stability across fluctuating temperatures, according to the manufacturer.
