Rite-Hite Corp.'s new Survivor dock shelter from Frommelt features an impactable side-frame design engineered to eliminate costly damage from contact with semi-trailers. This results in longer life and lower cost of ownership when compared to traditional rigid-frame shelters. The side frames are composed of virtually indestructible Neotec high molecular weight polyethylene that allows trailers to strike the shelter from any angle without suffering permanent damage. The semirigid, yet flexible side frames return to their original shape after impact. The shelters also feature a V-Flow fabric header designed to divert water off the sides without the need for a gutter. They need no additional overhead space to function, making it possible to fit the shelters into tight spaces. They also offer full, unobstructed access to loads and can service a wide variety of trailers.
