Busy professionals who want to advance their knowledge but have limited time and resources will be able to save both, thanks to a new arrangement between APICS-The Association for Operations Management and the American Society of Transportation & Logistics (AST&L).
The agreement allows professionals who have earned the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation from APICS to bypass the elective Supply Chain Management module of AST&L's Certification in Transportation and Logistics (CTL). Those who have earned Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM/CFPIM) designations may waive the required Logistics Management module.
More information about the organizations' educational programs can be found on the Web sites for APICS (www.apics.org) and AST&L (www.astl.org).
