German company SICK unveiled two new lines of bar-code scanners: the CLV 620 and CLV 630. The company says that these scanners will offer greater power, flexibility, and functionality in bar-code reading. SICK says the new scanners' technology that allows them to read poor, damaged, or partially hidden bar codes. Other advanced features give the new scanner platform the high-end performance usually seen in scanners two to three times the cost, SICK said.
