Supply chain technology startup StaffWRX has launched a mobile platform that allows employers in industries like manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution to create job listings and select qualified candidates with an app on a mobile device, the company said Wednesday.
Atlanta-based StaffWRX irons out inefficiencies in the temporary-labor fulfillment sector by using its mobile app to allow employers to create a job listing, view available candidates, and read their in-app bios, which include workers' job history, related skills, and location, the company said.
Once workers are on the job, employers can rate candidates' merit, quality of work, and punctuality, using the app's real-time messaging and employee check-in features to alleviate common issues in punctuality and quality of work.
"Filling a temporary blue collar job is a time-intensive process for both the employer and the candidate," StaffWRX co-founder Evans Rainer said in a release. "In response, the StaffWRX approach leverages proprietary technology and processes that ensure employers are selecting from a pool of well-vetted candidates who are StaffWRX employees."
