Warehouse robotics provider GreyOrange showed its new Flexo modular sortation system at ProMat, saying the system of conveyor-topped, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) gives omnichannel businesses the flexibility to improve productivity and to handle unpredictable demand and labor shortages.

Powered by the company's GreyMatter software, the platform can help users solve for both throughput and efficiency, said Sid Chatterjee, GreyOrange's vice president for products.

The system collaborates with GreyMatter's upgraded Butler and PickPal products, and can be installed in facilities too small for conventional warehouse automation platforms, the company said.
