Rack company Hannibal Industries invests in robotics, IT

To help the company expand its sales and shorten its lead times, rack company Hannibal Industries is making significant investments in robotics and information technology for its manufacturing operations.

Hannibal is investing $3 million in robotics to streamline the company's welding operation. The company is also implementing IT systems that will provide their companies better visibility into the status of their orders.

The company is exhibiting at the Modex show in Atlanta this week with its partner company Twinlode.
