Seegrid unveils vision-guided industrial truck

By DC Velocity Staff

Seegrid, a manufacturer of flexible AGVs, launched a vision-guided industrial truck that can automatically transport palletized loads through manufacturing and distribution environments.

The GWS35 walkie stacker automatically picks, drops, stacks, and puts away loads of up to 72 inches at a maximum load capacity of 3,500 pounds. The truck does not require any additional infrastructure, costly expansion, redesign into a facility, or a specialized team of engineers to install, support, or operate it, Pittsburgh-based Seegrid said.

Jeff Christensen, Seegrid's director of product development, said, "We have expanded our traditional horizontal transportation line to include a vision-guided product capable of picking or placing pallets on a conveyor, on an ergonomic lifting table, or in racking."
