Agile's marine line of military grade, ruggedized, long-range, multi-SIM card, smart routing communications technologies make maintaining cellular and internet connections seamless. The company estimates it can save on satellite costs as much as 50%. Agile Marine products boast the ability to conveniently and automatically switch from LTE to satellite and back, which Agile calls "smart routing." It covers a range of up to 25 miles offshore before automatic "smart routing" to satellite."
Agile's state-of-the-art solutions are able to load local SIMs for over 100 countries on a monthly regional plan. Using local carries from various countries provides a stronger connection, more bandwidth and more capabilities beyond the traditional method of routing and satellite allowing you to concentrate on fun or business while providing a seamless and secure connection. Additional features resolve issues related to congested marine WiFi, spotty cellular connections or no connections whatsoever when offshore.
Key Agile Marine product features include:
• Smart Routing for automatic switching between LTE and satellite services and back to LTE to reduce sat usage
• Intelligent software to scan for the best LTE connection available all the time
• 25 mile offshore range
• 4 cellular LTE radios (carrier agnostic)
• Automatic switching between carriers for expanded coverage
• On-board SIM cards directly in the unit and virtual download from datacenter SIM library
• Large coverage area secure WiFi for multiple devices and calling via compatible cell phones
• GPS tracking embedded in the unit
• Interconnect points for mobile data units
• Conformally coated boards and billet aluminum construction for durability, no moving parts to be affected by ship movement

"Commercial shipping demands are extreme and Agile Marine products are designed to make them effortless as well in terms of saving money and time," said Sheryar Wahid, co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Agile. "Our integrative communications technologies are capable of operating in the harshest of environments and provide true carrier flexibility, speed and range while lowering the cost of communications overall. That's why we are offering technology with multiple SIM card options that we believe are as competitive a line of communications tools available and cover the needs of virtually all commercial shippers and fleets no matter who their current cellular carriers might be."
Agile Marine's flagship product is an LTE communications solution for ships that reduces satellite costs and provides a more robust internet connection when near shore. Agile Marine products feature sophisticated software onboard to manage cell tower hand offs when appropriate that maximize signal strength and the ability to automatically search for the best throughput connection available. The bonded LTE aggregates all cellular connections to maintain session persistence even if one or more cell connects drop due to the ship travelling out of range. The LMR extension functions in the background to detect loss of service to the trunked radio network and send the transmission over the VPN secure LTE connection. This requires no action by the operator. The unit is housed in a billet milled aluminum case for marine, mobile and portable applications making it perhaps the most flexible option available today.
All Agile technologies are an extension of its flagship product, CORE (Common Operating Radio Engine). Agile CORE technologies have proven themselves on the field under the harshest of circumstances around the globe with users such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and Doctors Without Borders and are now being deployed by US municipalities and the federal government.
All Agile CORE products are Band 14 capable, ready to support the FirstNet network.
