The new operation is headed by Market Leader Don Laux, a 30-year veteran of the material handling industry. Laux has been working to assist customers in central and western Tennessee. The new office allows him to focus on strategy, mentoring and assisting our growing customer base in the area. Previously, Laux served as an account executive, starting in 2017, when a smaller sales office was opened in Nashville.
"Don's ability to create solutions and serve customers has allowed him to build this operation," said Murphy. "To assist the customer base and meet the demand, we expanded the Nashville office to include more direct sales and support for the region."
The office will serve a full range of material handling and safety needs, including conveyor systems, pallet racks, order picking, mezzanines and a broad array of material handling services for distribution and manufacturing companies. Additionally, Cisco-Eagle will engage in material handling service and maintenance contracts for customers in the area. The office will also bring personal, on-site service for our exclusive safety products and expert service, including AisleCop, AisleAlert and a host of other solutions that help make industrial facilities safer and more productive.
"We've always had clients in Nashville," added Laux. "I opened our first office here in 2017, and it became apparent that we needed to expand. We have that done now and we're much more capable and fully staffed. We're working not only on material handling, conveyor, safety and storage projects, but also doing dedicated maintenance and service work. We can do comprehensive work for our customers now, and service everything locally."
David Henderson has joined the Nashville team as an account executive. Henderson, a Mechanical Engineering and Technology graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, has worked extensively with customers to solve problems and ensure their needs are met across a variety of companies and projects.
Greg Bates completes the Nashville sales team. Bates is a 30-year material handling industry veteran who has worked on hundreds of projects during his career. He holds and MBA from Lipscomb University and covers a broad variety of accounts in Tennessee. Bates has a deep understanding of industrial operations and how to improve them.
"We think Nashville is an ideal, growing industrial market and look forward to serving our customer base better than ever," said Laux. "Our team is ready to go."
