Wolter Group acquires Bohnert Equipment Co.

Wolter Group LLC has acquired Bohnert Equipment Company, expanding its material handling solutions business in Kentucky and the Midwest region, the company said today.

Louisville, Ky.-based Bohnert sells mobile equipment such as forklifts from KION North America's Linde product line as well as Rico, and Cascade, along with aerial lifts, personnel carriers, and engineered solutions such as conveyors, cranes, hoists, and pallet racking. Brookfield, Wis.-based Wolter Group provides material handling, storage, and engineered solutions to a wide range of customers. Its brands include Wisconsin Lift Truck Corp., Illinois Material Handling, Kensar Equipment Company, Wolter Power Systems, Fleet Services, and Ellis Systems. 

The deal expands Wolter's presence in the Kentucky market and strengthens its position in the Midwest, the company said.
