SALT LAKE CITY - June 14, 2016 - Wavelink today announced Speakeasy support on the Velocity platform, bringing voice to modernized terminal emulation and web-based applications on the Android operating system. Adding voice capabilities solidifies Android as a viable next-generation mobility solution, complete with the full suite of mobile enablement to accompany a hardware refresh.
Building on Wavelink's existing Velocity platform, Speakeasy empowers customers to maximize productivity with voice-enablement as they run modernized mobile applications on the latest generation of Android mobile devices. As a result, warehouses are able to upgrade from older devices and fully leverage the touchscreen experience offered by Android's mobile computers without being restricted by the availability of productivity software.
