Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. Adds Jungheinrich® Stand-Up Tow Tractor Model to North American Product Line

HOUSTON (March 22, 2016) - Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA), the provider of Jungheinrich® lift trucks and narrow aisle products in the United States, Canada and Mexico, today introduced a new 8,000 lb. capacity Jungheinrich EZS C40NA tow tractor to its North American product line. Jungheinrich now offers a full line of sit-down and stand-up tow tractors that range from 8,000 - 19,800 lbs. in towing capacity. Combining the latest generation of AC technology with advanced regenerative braking, this new model can efficiently run up to two shifts on a single battery charge for greater productivity.

"Jungheinrich products are designed for high performance and efficiency," said Chad Munger, product line manager at MCFA. "The new 8,000 lb. tow tractor provides several key benefits for our customers, such as greater flexibility to work both indoors and out, longer run times and precise control during operation. We're excited to offer this new series to our North American customers."

Distinctive benefits of the EZS C40 tow tractor include:

• High Energy Efficiency - Advanced Jungheinrich AC motors, combined with the latest generation of technology, provide outstanding efficiency with run times up to two shifts on one battery charge in most applications. The new model also boasts powerful acceleration speeds and quick directional changes for greater productivity.

• Precise Control - Electric steering provides greater control while traveling, while three pre-set, adjustable travel programs allow the tow tractor to be customized to suit most applications. The tow tractor also features Jungheinrich's proprietary Curve Control feature, which automatically reduces traveling speed when turning corners, helping to ensure greater control over loads.

• Compact Design - The EZS C40 is built with a shorter chassis for a better turning radius and improved control and maneuvering in tight spaces. The tow tractor also features 5.4 inch ground clearance and is equipped with super-elastic tires to provide operators with a smoother ride when traveling on uneven or rough surfaces.

New Jungheinrich products are supported by a one-year / 2,000-hour warranty that includes parts and labor, as well as components and systems, and a two-year / 4,000-hour extended Powertrain warranty. All Jungheinrich products are backed by the Parts Fast or Parts Free Guarantee that ensures next-day-delivery by 5 p.m., of Jungheinrich parts, or the parts are free, including freight, in the United States. For customers in Canada and Mexico, the guarantee ensures shipping of parts within 24-hours from the time the order was placed.
