Powerhouse SD industrial, roll-up rubber door

Door manufacturer Rytec Corp. has introduced the Powerhouse SD industrial, roll-up rubber door for exterior doorways.

Powerhouse SD's roll-up panel is made out of styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), which is virtually indestructible, according to the company. The door is designed without springs, high-maintenance counterbalance systems, and wear parts, which saves money on service and maintenance. The door opens and closes fast, reducing the amount of energy lost and debris or dust entering the facility.

The door is wind- and pressure-resistance and seals tightly. If the door is hit, Powerhouse SD releases without damage and restores to full operation with just the push of a button, according to Rytec.
