Cat 2EPC5000 - 2EPC6500 Series Lift Trucks

Cat Lift Trucks has introduced the next generation of its mid-sized electric lift trucks with pneumatic tires. The 2EPC5000 - 2EP6500 Series trucks have a capacity of 5,000 to 6,500 pounds and new features designed to improve the energy efficiency, performance levels, and operator ergonomics of the trucks.

The new 2EPC series are equipped with 3-phase AC technology. According to Cat, the new models are 10 percent more energy efficient than previous generations of mid-sized electric lift trucks. For most applications, up to two shifts can now run off one battery charge.

The lift trucks are also built with added protection for harsh, dusty, and moist environments. For example, these lift trucks are equipped with sealed wet-disc brakes, electrical components, and connectors.

Driver comfort has also been improved. The combination of solid pneumatic tires, full-suspension seat, and floating cabin provide a comfortable ride on rough or uneven floors, according to Cat. The trucks also have an adjustable operator compartment and fingertip hydraulic controls. Cat also offers an optional enclosed cabin for further protection in cold or wet conditions.
