ActivRAC 7P Powered Mobilized Storage System

Spacesaver Industrial has unveiled its ActivRAC 7P Powered Mobilized Storage System for light- to medium-duty storage needs.

With ActivRAC Mobilized Storage, otherwise stationary or fixed sections of four-post bulk racking, cabinets, shelving, or even pallet racks are mounted on carriages, which travel on steel rails. By moving rows of storage from side to side, the system is able to eliminate space-wasting idle aisles. In addition, the system compacts the stored materials into a much smaller footprint when compared with a stationary system, while providing 100-percent access whenever needed.

The storage system gives manufacturers, wholesalers, and suppliers the ability to meet SKU-growth pressures and operational efficiency improvements without having to expand their existing facilities or lease new space, says the company.
