Denso ADC is now offering its latest BHT-900 Series of handheld barcode terminals. The affordable new devices feature convenient C-language programming and USB connection directly to a PC. Other communications capabilities include Media Transfer Protocol (MTP), Bluetooth 2.1 (BHT-904BB model), and batch communication via RS232C or USB. Pre-installed software enables instant, out-of-the-box use for basic data-collection applications.
Advanced CCD technology allows the BHT-900 terminals to recognize even hard-to-read or damaged barcodes, at a high maximum speed of 400 scans per second. The devices can run for 200 hours between charges and have been tested to withstand 60 drops onto concrete from a height of 3.9 feet.
The slim, lightweight devices have an ergonomic design, for easy touch or distance scanning, and a large, easy-to-see display. Up to three trigger keys allow operation without changing grip, reducing operator fatigue.
