Avery Dennison unveils its latest ultra-high-frequency RFID inlay, the AD-232. The inlay is designed for item-level tracking of assets like apparel in applications where close proximity or stacking of goods is required. The developer says the inlay is also suitable for use on difficult-to-tag items, including denim apparel.
Using NXP Semiconductors' latest EPC Gen 2 integrated circuit, the G2iL, the AD-232 inlay provides global performance in the 860-960 MHz UHF band. The AD-232 has an antenna footprint of 70 mm by 14.5 mm and fits nicely into a 3-inch-wide RFID label.
