Designed for in-line use with high-speed palletizers, Lantech's S3500 straddle wrapping machine can wrap loads up to 110 inches high. The unit is available with the company's new No-Film-Break (NFB) technology, which allows users to adjust load containment and film use properties according to their needs. The NFB technology provides metered film payout, which allows the machine to wrap partial layers as well as fragile display packs and light loads without risk of pulling, crushing, or load deformation.
The new NFB machine includes Lantech's Pallet-Grip system, which locks the load to the pallet with a cable of film rolled into the bottom edge of the web. The stretch wrapper also features a new visual management system that provides detailed productivity reports to machine operators, floor managers, or, via ethernet, to a central monitoring system. The machine is rated at 60 to 80 pallets per hour and is available with a high-speed option for 80 to 100 pallets per hour.
