Inttra-ACT Booking 2.0

Inttra, an e-commerce platform for the ocean freight industry, has announced the availability of Inttra-ACT Booking 2.0. This Web-based booking tool allows shippers and forwarders to reserve space on ocean vessels.

Using Inttra-ACT Booking 2.0, shippers and forwarders can now send more detailed shipment information to multiple carriers via the Internet. Manual parallel processes are reduced, resulting in a faster, more streamlined documentation process and higher-quality data.

Key data elements have been added to accommodate more complex commodity cargo requirements, including temperature- and atmosphere-controlled shipments, out of gauge shipments, and shipments of hazardous goods.
