UFS Forte series of four-way reach trucks

January 1, 2008
No Comments

Atlet's UFS Forte series of four-way reach trucks now come with a variety of ergonomic, safety, efficiency, and serviceability enhancements that are designed to reduce the vehicles' life-cycle costs. Additional value comes from a design that allows the trucks to transport and stack long materials within narrow aisles while also offering the flexibility for use as a standard lift truck.

The new four-way reach truck offers an ergonomic operator's compartment that will accommodate drivers of any size. It features a fully adjustable contour seat that tilts to allow better visibility when lifting goods to high levels. The mini-steering wheel with a floating armrest provides ease of operation and virtually effortless steering ability. The adjustable side seating and clear-view mast provide comfort, reduce operator fatigue, and ensure safe load positioning. The operator cabin also serves as a mobile work station with plenty of room for paperwork and accessories. A truck computer in the cabin monitors numerous electrical and hydraulic functions.

The new four-way reach truck also incorporates AC motor technology designed to provide long running time and reduce maintenance costs. The AC motor offers smooth braking and better truck control. Braking energy is returned to the battery, extending the run time. This means cooler motors, a cooler operator compartment, and extended component life. Maintenance is also easy. A single bolt opens a large swing-out door that allows access to all major components to help reduce downtime and repair costs. Capacities for this truck range from 4,400 to 5,500 pounds, and lift heights are available in increments of up to 35 feet.
