Pepperl+Fuchs has introduced the GRIP family of barcode reader handles for MAH200 and MAH300 series bar-code readers. The GRIP1, GRIP2, and GRIP3 handles can withstand demanding conditions in high-use environments, and they offer an extended-use ergonomic design for prolonged reader life.
The GRIP1 is designed for cabled operations. This battery handle option provides rugged, cordless mobility for high-volume barcode reading environments. The GRIP2 model is designed for a standard-capacity battery, while the GRIP3 model is for a highcapacity Li-Ion Battery system.
These new handles promise an extended trigger life of up to three million activations. They protect reader windows and illumination LEDs, and their elastomer overmold improves drop-shock survivability. Readers are secured to the handle via the threaded battery compartment. A screw attachment option can further secure the reader to the handle, while an optional cable attachment clip can also secure the cable to the handle. In addition, the GRIP series accommodates an optional lanyard hook for increased efficiencies in production environments.
