Stay-Linked Version 8

Stay-Linked Corp. has released Stay-Linked Version 8, which offers support for double-byte Asian character sets on terminal devices using Stay-Linked thin-client terminal emulation software to connect to the host system and manage the user's session. This allows users to support their operations in Asia with core host applications. It also permits them to standardize on Stay-Linked as their global solution for high-speed, reliable, secure, and centrally managed host access for all of their users, regardless of the native language of the data being displayed on their screens.

In addition, Version 8 offers a Pool License Server option that enables enterprises to take full advantage of simplified management and cost-saving benefits. Unlike typical device-side terminal emulation products where licensing is applied on each of the user's devices, Stay- Linked licensing is controlled on the host system where the terminal users connect, and is based on a more cost-effective concurrent-user model. The Pool License Server is suited for enterprises that deploy mission-critical applications in a distributed fashion.

Version 8 is currently available as a free downloadable upgrade for all Stay-Linked 7.2 users under support and maintenance agreements, as well as from authorized Stay-Linked Certified Partner resellers. For new customers, Stay-Linked Version 8 installs quickly and easily.
