Upgraded smart card readers for Windows Vista

OMNIKEY, a manufacturer of smart card readers, has upgraded its complete line of PC-connected contact smart card readers for Vista, the new Microsoft operating system and successor to Windows XP. All of OMNIKEY's PC-connected contact smart card reader models, including the CardMan 3021, 3121, 3621, 3821, 4040, 4321 and 6121, can be utilized for secure log-on to company networks or online applications with all Microsoft Vista product packages. These include both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the new operating system.

The plug-and-play functionality of the CardMan 3121 family continues to be supported as well.
