Expanded presence in Milwaukee

Averitt Express, a provider of freight transportation and supply chain management services, is expanding its presence in Milwaukee. The company has been providing transportation service in Milwaukee since 1997, and now with the expanded service, it will improve services for its Wisconsin customers. The expansion, which includes opening a new facility in the Milwaukee area, will help Averitt shave a day off transit times to key delivery destinations in the South. Averitt is now offering next-day service from Milwaukee to Louisville, Memphis and Nashville, and second-day service for Dallas, Atlanta, Charlotte and Orlando. The opening of the new service center adds 13 dedicated doors to Averitt's operations there.
