NORTHSTAR unmanned battery changing system

Sackett Systems Inc. unveils its advanced NORTHSTAR unmanned battery changing system. This fully automated, high-speed system is capable of performing battery changes in one minute or less. This is achieved by separating the Super-XChanger battery change-out system from the HK3000/RF ASRS battery storage and retrieval system. NORTH- STAR uses laser distance measuring to precisely move, position and map each battery location. The system coordinates with the integrated Guardian Battery Management System for optimized battery rotation.

NORTHSTAR is a modular system that can be easily configured to a building's requirements. In facilities with less than 60 feet of ceiling height, the system will safely store up to 10 batteries high in either single or double-aisle racks. Sackett has also incorporated the Allen Bradley SLC control system for ease of use, reliability and longevity.
