PC500 Powered Picking Cart

February 1, 2007
No Comments

Newcastle Systems' PC500 Powered Picking Cart is designed to hold a variety of equipment along with picked merchandise, including a computer, printer and scanner. The cart makes it possible to record inventory in real time and print labels on demand in warehouses, distribution centers and manufacturing facilities. In receiving departments, inbound product can be received, inspected, labeled and rerouted?all on the same picking cart. This eliminates the need to handle the product multiple times and reduces travel.

The PC500, which is extremely mobile, can be moved and positioned with minimal effort with its high-performance six-inch rubber casters and narrow profile. This powered cart holds up to three shelves that are ergonomically adjustable and can be set at different heights to suit the operator and the task being performed. Its standard power package includes a 44 amp hour battery, a 500 watt inverter and a full 20 amp charger. A battery volt meter is mounted to the top of the vertical mast to show the operator the battery's charging status.
