CHEP PLUS PS (phytosanitary) pallet service

Pallet and container pooling company CHEP has launched the CHEP PLUS PS (phytosanitary) pallet service to meet new global requirements intended to stop the spread of wood-boring insects. The PLUS PS pallets will be heat-treated according to requirements for pest management set forth by the International Plant Protection Convention. The pallets will also be stamped with the country of origin, method of treatment and registration number of the approved processor. This will ensure that pallets are accepted in the more than 100 countries expected to adhere to the code.
